The Laboratories, our quality “detectives”

The Albini group has five laboratories: two at Albino, two at Brebbia and one at Albiate, each devoted exclusively to the checking of raw materials or to the quality of production. Externally some specific tests can also be performed if required by clients.

The yarn laboratory at Albino was established around twenty years ago. All the raw yarn arriving from the spinner and dyed yarns arriving from the dyers are tested to be sure they meet our exacting specifications.

In the fabrics laboratory at Albino, before shipping, the fabric undergoes all the chemical and physical tests, done with various methods according to the client to which it is destined.

In the Brebbia laboratory the first basic tests are performed.

Fabric is constantly checked to be sure that it meets our standards before being returned to Albino. In Brebbia, we also have skilled dyers who prepare the formulas for dyeing and control the production of all our piece dyed fabrics.
